Ahrimanes
A secretive offshoot of the Gangrel, the Ahrimanes are a shamanistic bloodline of all-female vampires. Related to the Gangrel of the Sabbat, the Ahrimanes were created in an attempt to rid themselves of the petty fights between city and country Gangrel, however, they are far from loosing their kins’ feral urges for violence. Enjoying great wealth and controlling many pawns in South America, they still staunchly support the Sabbat while working towards their own goals. Disciplines: Animalism, Protean, Auspex Nickname: Cats

Dark ages
N/A Did not exist during the dark ages.
Modern days
Though the bloodline
numbers only a few individuals, and many consider the clan long since
gone, the Ahrimanes spend most of their resources towards increasing
their personal power and wealth and play an important role for the
Sabbat in watching the movements of the Lupines in local areas.
Embraces
As the Ahrimanes are
incapable of siring, they increase their numbers by convincing other
(female) Sabbat Gangrel to renounce their clan and join the Ahrimanes
bloodline by undergoing a Thaumaturgic ritual which drastically alters
their blood. The Ahrimanes consider males to be inferior, and as such
there are no male Ahrimanes kindred.
Havens
Most Ahrimanes live in
grandé estates and mansions to fit the wealthy background of the clan.
All Ahrimanes however have underground lairs, fortified to ensure only
the strongest of opponents have any hoping of breaking in.
As a clan
The clan is only few in
numbers and the difficulty in recruiting more into their clan fosters
close bonds between them. They often unite against threat, foes or
prey, but are too small a group to wield any significant political
power. Their common resentment to deal with men also puts them at odds
with many others who would otherwise be their allies.
Strength
Just like your average
Gangrel, the greatest power of the Ahrimanes is the Protean discipline.
However, the changes to their blood granted them Auspex instead of
Fortitude.
Weakness
The Thaumaturgic rituals
that created the Ahrimanes renders their blood weak, almost thin
blooded. They are incapable of siring childes or bloodbonding, but can
still be bloodbonded themselves.
Side Note
In the previous version of
the Pen and Paper game, the Ahrimanes had the Spiritus discipline
instead of Protean, which was a mix between Necromancy and Animalism,
allowing them to commune with and summon animal spirits to do their
bidding.
