True Brujah
Long ago, the original “Brujah” was diablarized by one of his own childer. This childe was named Troile, and from him came clan Brujah as we know it. However, the other childes of Brujah himself were the true heirs of clan Brujah, and as such, named themselves the True Brujah. Being almost the opposite of their kin, the True Brujah are rarely passionate, and best described as emotionless lords sitting high upon their trones as the eons pass as mere minutes. Dark Ages & Modern Days
The True Brujah were
always quite low in number, and few managed to survive into the modern
ages. During the dark ages many were found by vampire hunters, who
promptly destroyed them. Only those who went into hiding survived.
During the modern ages, most of the True Brujah aligned with the Sabbat
in an attempt to cull the wayward Brujah, though with little success.
Their kin far outnumber the True Brujah, and it is unlikely the True
Brujah will even be able to raise their odds.
Embraces
The True Brujah seek intellectuals. They mainly seek the young who have wisdom and self-knowledge far beyond their age.
Havens
Most True Brujah dwell in grand estates and mansions, places of both great nobility and solitude.
As a clan
The clan had plenty of
organisation, but due to it’s dwindling numbers more and more simply
turn inward and stop seeking contact with their fellow True Brujah.
Strength
The True Brujah are the
only kindred who mastered the evolutionary version of Celerity,
Temporis. This discipline allows the True Brujah to effect time itself,
be it by effecting time in a small area or on a single object, or time
travel.
Weakness
Being almost the
opposite of their wayward kinsmen, the True Brujah are cold beings who
rarely let any emotions bubble up to the surface. As a result, the True
Brujah must spend twice the effort to regain lost humanity. On top of
this, Temporis is a volatile discipline, and when an attempt to cast it
fails the True Brujah may end up getting stuck in a time loop, or
suffer from mind afflictions such as amnesia.
